Back from Europe and England!!!!!!

Many of our customers ask us if we can still find antiques in Europe, and we always say that is never a problem.  This trip we bought more than ever.  The size of our container is increasing from 40 feet to 45 feet, and we are praying that we can squeeze every piece on.  New sources added to our old favorites have enabled us to buy more beautiful and unusual antiques.  There are exceptional oil paintings and chandaliers on this shipment.  We have our usual group of beautiful French mirrors, as well as, an English convex mirror from the 1800's adorned with an eagle, and a selection of midcentury sunburst mirrors from Belgium.  A group of natural botanicals dried by nuns in the 1800's would make a wonderful wall grouping.  Three French commodes from the 1700's are among our most exceptional pieces.  The patina on antiques of this age adds to the character and beauty.  The French call these gable chests with curved fronts.  Ours are from Leon and Provence and are made of elm, walnut and oak.  From buying out of the back of a van to driving down cobblestone roads ridden on by Napoleon, we covered lots of miles and found many treasures.  (a ticket came today for driving in a bus lane - they were lucky we were on the left side of the road)
